Faculty Seminar on “Tourism in Uttarakhand”
Faculty Seminar on “Tourism in Uttarakhand” November 19, 2018
Seminars give us intensive exposure to a topic through presentations and discussions led by the presenter. Faculty Seminars offer chances to debate issues, share experiences and exchange perspectives. Hence, faculty seminar on “Tourism in Uttarakhand” was organized for pupil teachers of ICFAI Education School by Ms. Atulya Verma. The slides highlighted the major attraction spots of Uttarakhand like Char Dhams, Panch Kedar, Jyotirlings, places like Mussoorie, Almora, Ranikhet, Kausani etc.
Bordered by Tibet in the north, Nepal in the east, Himachal Pradesh in the west and the Gangetic plains in the south, Uttarakhand, the land of spirituality seems to be a jewel on the crown of Indian Territory. The state is rich in flora and fauna, natural and touristic ambience and includes some of the most important pilgrimage centers in the country. Numerous parks contribute in conservation of Uttarakhand’s wildlife. Famous spots of each place were discussed with students like Jim Corbett, Tiffin top, Chopta, Lansdowne, Hemkund Sahib etc.
