The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) program is four-year undergraduate program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of Pharmacy and prepares them for a career in the pharmaceutical sciences.

The B.Pharm curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmaceutical analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacy, communication skills, remedial mathematics, remedial biology, biochemistry, pathophysiology, and Pharmaceutical Management.

This course also includes practical training in various aspects of pharmacy, such as drug design, formulation development, quality control, and regulatory aff airs. Students also learn about the legal and ethical aspects of pharmacy practice.

The course equips students with the skills required to work in various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry, including research and development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.

The program is approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Eligibility

Any student possessing any other qualification as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above Examinations shall also be considered for admission to the B.Pharmacy Program.

*Should have completed 17 years of age on 31 Dec., 2025 of the year in which admission is taken on the basis of Entrance exam / Merit.

Admission Process

Admission is based on merit & personal Interview.

Award of Degree

Students who successfully complete the program are awarded the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree by The ICFAI University, Dehradun subject to The University Regulations.

Each Module has two components 1. Conference/Seminar & 2. Industrial training. Students have to submit a report for each module in the format provided by the University, and a copy of the certificate (for the participation & completion of Conference/ Industrial Training) enclosed within the Report.

Admission Modalities

The Admission modalities are with reference to the campus-based full-time programs offered by the ICFAI University, Dehradun.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 50% and above marks conducted by the respective state/central government authorities with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) OR Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as an equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Admission Criteria

The admission into the programs is on the basis of Merit, through Application and Interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is also given to their academic distinctions, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra-curricular activities.

The applicants will have to go through a personal interview at the ICFAI University, Dehradun campus. This is to determine the students’ attitude and motivation to pursue the program.

Original certificates and domicile certificate should be produced for verification at the time of interview. The original certificates will be returned after verification. The admission decision will be communicated after the interview process. All the selected students will be required to pay the admission fee towards confirmation of seat.

Students interested can apply by any one of the following methods:

  1. Online Application: Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.iudehradun.edu.in and make payment of Rs. 500 towards the cost using Credit / Debit Card (Visa / Master Card / Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
  2. Download of Application Form: Applicants can fill their details online and download the Application Form from www.iudehradun.edu.in and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 500 towards the cost of the application in favor of “The ICFAI University, Dehradun -Fee Collection A/c” payable at Dehradun.
  3. Fill the Application Form: Applicants can fill in the application form given in page no. 03 and send it to the Admissions Office.

Students are advised to read the guidelines carefully before completing the Application Form for Admission.

Students have to enclose the self-attested copies of the following certificates.

  • Date of Birth Certificate / Class X Certificate
  • Marks sheets of Class X and Class XII
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Aadhar Card
  • Any other certificates pertaining to academic and other activities.

To avail the domicile benefits in the program fee, candidate domicile certificate is required at the time of registration.

Program Fee

Program Fee is to be paid in equal installments as shown against the respective program.

Convocation Fee & Alumni Fee

Convocation Fee of Rs. 1,000 and Alumni Fee of Rs. 5,000 is to be paid along with the program fee of final semester.

Caution Deposit

All students are required to pay the caution deposit along with the first semester fee. The caution deposit will be refunded to students on completion of the program. Caution Deposit and Security Deposit are not adjustable against Program Fee and other dues.

Merit Scholarships Scheme

The ICFAI University, Dehradun offers merit scholarships to students pursuing the B.Pharm. program. These scholarships are based on past academic record and semester-wise performance.

The past academic percentage will be calculated by adding all subjects of class XII for B.Pharm. program. Once the student get backlog (RRA/NC/RC) in a semester then he/she will not be eligible for the scholarship there after. He/ she should have scored 6 or more GPA in the semester. Students facing any disciplinary action will not be eligible for scholarship. Students who have availed any kind of fee waiver are not eligible for scholarship.

Note: Students are required to pay complete semester fee on or before the registration date. The details are presented in the following table.

Above Scholarship amount would be adjusted equally in 8 installments for 4 years Program in each semester fee payable.

10% of the students in the batch having highest CGPA will be eligible for the scholarship. Scholarship amount would be distributed equally among students with equivalent CGPA if tied with the last student in the top 10%. Students should not have any backlogs (RRA/NC/RC) in any semester. Students who have availed any kind of fee waiver are not eligible for scholarship. Students facing disciplinary action of any kind are not eligible for scholarship.
