Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for functioning of YUKTI Clubs / Cells Overview
- The Yukti Club is established to foster the innovative spirit of our student body for making others’ life better in a way and to support the development of start- ups, entrepreneurial endeavours
- This will serve as a venue to honour the inventiveness, creativity and benevolence of our students.

Functions
Reaching out to the community and organising numerous social events with the help of faculty and employees are the main priorities.
- To teach students about social welfare and to serve the community impartially.
- Promoting the social advancement of communities and groups.
- Aid in the process of social integration.
- Encourage healthcare development and health promotion.
- Thinking of measures of safety and empowerment of common mass.
- Contributing towards a noble cause viz. education, meeting basic needs, safety needs, esteem and belongingness needs etc.
Vision Statement
- To work towards making considerable change in the lives of youth by contributing towards improvement of the socio-economic status of the under- privileged.
Mission
- To realise our vision, we will include Indian society's social, environmental, and health concerns into the Corporation's overarching club policy and programmes.
- As a socially conscious business entity, Yukti Club Policy will work to strike a balance between stakeholder expectations and its social responsibility.
Structure
- The club consists of one Faculty In-charge and 5 student In-charges (2- IEdS, 1- ILS, 1-ITS, 1-IBS)
General Guidelines
- The club's goal is to educate students about their obligations to the local community and society as a whole.
- The club wants to promote and instill in pupils a sense of social responsibility.
- The Club has been established to give students a platform to showcase their abilities in extracurricular as well as academic pursuits.
- These clubs are entirely run by students, giving them the chance to develop their leadership and management skills while striking a healthy balance between work, play, and leisure activities.
- Regardless of caste, colour, religion, or status, Yukti, a social service cell at The ICFAI University, Dehradun aspires to unite faculty and students in order to improve the lives of the negligent and pitiful.
- The community provides for the many requirements of people from all walks of life.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning for social responsibility activities
- Collating & documenting all club related activities
- Publishing various club reports on website and in-house magazines
- Budget grant by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Sir & monitoring of the same
- Reviewing & monitoring proposals
- Making visits to proposed sites
- Estimating the amount of expenditure needed on each of the activities
- Keeping a lookout for any assistance required by the local community.
