The Office of International Relation and Studies (OIRS) has been established by the University to create a strong bridge between university and the world. ORIS is committed to develop a global knowledge-ecosystem without any geographical boundary. The University always promotes the cross-culture environment by accommodating students and staff from the all states of the India. The university is also planning to offer degree program to the international students and extending of MoU with the foreign Universities for the internationalisation of Indian education as per the direction of NEP 2020 Govt. of India. The ICFAI University, Dehradun has been notified by the UGC, under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide Notification No: F.9-26/2003(CPP-I) dated 22nd July 2005. The University is competent to award the Degrees, as specified by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956.” University is accredited by NAAC and various national and international accreditation agencies.
The unique learning model of the university could provide a better understanding of the subject with the global exposure. The linkage between University and Industry is helping OIRS to provide better roadmap to international students for the bright career in future. As the growing economy India is the best place to receive the education with the global standards and with unique pedagogies. The OIRS will be responsible to invite the international students in on-campus for full-time studies with the facilities for international visit and the related paper work with government and consulate offices.
