Program Structure:

The program comprises of 29 courses (of which 21 are compulsory courses and 8 are electi ve courses), and a summer internship program. These courses are spread over four semesters.

Electives

The students are encouraged to choose eight courses from elective streams namely, Marketing, HRM, Finance and Operations. Students will have the flexibility in choosing more than one course from these elective streams. Students will also have the facility for dual specialization. Elective courses will be off ered subject to a minimum number of 10-15 students enrolling for a particular elective.

Summer Internship Program (SIP)

SIP is a vehicle for introducing students to real-life situation, which cannot be simulated in the classroom and requires the students to undergo the rigor of professional environment both in form and substance. It exposes them to technical skills and helps them to acquire social skills by drawing them onto contact with real professionals.

Case-Methodology

Case teaching methodology occupies a prominent role at IBS teaching. The Case Method assists students in identifying typical problems in specific functional areas of management. Thus the Program offered at IBS is highly rigorous, completely transforming the student to be ready to meet the challenges of today’s corporate world

Industry Initiatives

IBS consciously encourages industry interaction with a wide cross section of professionals in the industry. Summer Projects, industry interaction programs, guest lectures, seminars etc., organized in association with the industry offer students an opportunity to exhibit their skills and abilities to leading recruiters.
