Macroteaching Sessions For the month of August 2018
Macroteaching sessions are the teaching practice sessions for pupil teachers which prove to be very helpful for them to make their teaching effective in their real classroom teaching. Macroteaching is the combination of various micro skills such as introduction skill, explanation skill, questioning answering skill and many more. Such teaching practice sessions are conducted for students of B.Ed Batch (2017-19) on daily basis which help students to learn the behaviour of learners, teachers and instructional material.
In teacher training, simulated teaching occurs in which pupil Teachers “role play” to teach a particular lesson in front of a group of peers who are acting as students and vice versa. The instructor or the faculty member sits behind and evaluates the performance of the pupil teacher.
