Children's Day November 14, 2018

Children's Day is celebrated on the 14th of November in India as a tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru, who was born on November 14, 1889, called Chacha Nehru known for his love towards children. On this day, gifts are being distributed among children, while schools organize various events for children like music and dance performances, skit, games etc.

Pupil Teachers of ICFAI Education School celebrated Children’s day with the students of Govt. Primary School, Selaqui. On this occasion they have organized various activities like games, poem recitation, story narration, skit and GK Quiz. The children felt very happy and participated in all the activities with great zeal and enthusiasm. Sangita Kumari narrated a letter by Jawahar Lal Nehru to the children of India during his Prime Minister ship. A small GK Quiz was organized by Himanshu Joshi. Interest was shown by small children in learning about India. Sapna came forward with an interesting and meaningful poem for students. Debarati DebBarman asked students if they want to speak about their hobby, showcase their talent to bring out best in them. Students were very enthusiastic and came up with various short stories, narrated with actions. At last, students of Primary and Middle school were given snacks and stationary by pupil teachers of B.Ed. It was a great event organized by Prof. Sarita Negi and assisted by Ms. Atulya Verma.
