Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Oct 31, 2019

ICFAI Education School, The ICFAI University, Dehradun organized a talk on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2019 to celebrate 144th anniversary of Sardar Patel. He played an important role in uniting India and is famous as an Iron Man of India and one of the founding leaders of the Republic of India. In order to pay tribute, Ranbir Singh, Regional Officer, CBSE was the Chief Guest, other key speakers were principals of various eminent schools namely Mr. Emmanuel Ratnaraj, Principal Shishya School, Dr. Kiran Mamgain, Head, Research Club, DIT University, Dehradun, Mr. Pradeep Dabral, Principal SGRR School, Bhauwala, Dehradun. The event started with lighting of the lamp by dignitaries and Ganesh Vandana. Prof. (Dr) Muddu Vinay, Vice Chancellor, IUD enlightened all of us with his words of wisdom. Mr. Ranbir motivated the youth by highlighting the possible ways in order to contribute for the development of our country. Dr. Kiran Mamgain posed various facts on the life of Sardar Patel with an interactive session with students. Mr. Emmanuel Ratnaraj highlighted the motive of the day through PPT slides with facts, pictorial stories in it. Speech by Mr. Pradeep Dabral depicted the relevance of observing the day at National level. Followed by which Brig. Rajiv Sethi (Retd.), Registrar, IUD presented his vote of thanks to the dignitaries.

Student Coordinators of ICFAI Education School were Rekha Chauhan, Saurabh Gupta, Priya Singh, Anjali Mason, Aastha, Shraddha Gupta, Anju Verma, Jyoti Rawat, Jyoti Mandal, Nidhi Semwal, Sapna, Himanshu Joshi, Tanisha Mittal, Shobha, Merlin Julias and Sangita.

It was highly charged event organized under the guidance of Dr. Meena Bhandari, Head, Education School. Faculty Coordinators were Ms.Sarita Negi and Ms. Atulya Verma.
