Debate & Quiz Competition Aug 21, 2019

The Campus to Corporate (Udaan) Club organized a Debate Competition and subsequently a Quiz Competition too, under the mentorship of Ms. Aditi Singhal on 21st August. 2018. All the students participated with lot of zeal & Excitement. An energetic audience were also gathered to witness this wonderful to and fro of arguments with knowledge.

A debate is a process that involves formal discussion on particular topics. The participants debated enthusiastically to prove their points correct. Young people have the power to change the world, it is only through engaging the brightest young minds that we will be able to enhance our society and improve law and order. The more one expresses his/her thoughts the more one’s ability of thinking increases. It helps the students to enhance their inner qualities of arguments and judging their abilities of presenting their views in an effective manner. Debating always improves our attitude, belief, and boosts up one’s self confidence. After completion of each topic there was a question round from the audience to the speaker. The topics for the debate were:-

• Media : Boon or Curse
• Peer Pressure : Harmful or Beneficial
• Our Votes: Do they really matters?

The Event ended with an appreciation and encouragement Speech by Prof. Aditi Singhal and best speaker Prizes were distributed to the winner’s viz. Kaushiki Keshari, Raj Nandini & Shruti Goyal

The Quiz Competition tested the General knowledge of students on various topics of Current affairs viz. Geography, History, Politics, Law, Technology, Education, Management, Sports, Economics, Environment etc.

The organizing Committee members were Paridhi Singh, Kanav Gupta, Devashish, Abhineet Kumar, Kaushiki Mukherjee & Sumojit Gorai.
