The M.Tech Program

The M.Tech Program is designed to encourage future professionals to equip themselves with the latest tools and techniques in the field of Science and Technology. Program has been structured so as to identify and understand the commonality as well as the divergence amongst them.

The University offers M.Tech in following specialization areas:

  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • RF and Microwave Engineering
  • Industrial Manufacturing Engineering
  • Transportation Engineering
Duration

Two years

Eligibility

Pass in B.Tech/ BE/ MCA/ M.Sc or equivalent in relevant area with 60% and above aggregate marks.

Admission Process

Admission is based on Merit through Application and Interview. Interview will be conducted in July, 2017 at the ICFAI University, Dehradun.

Award of Degree

On successful completion of the course of studies, students will be awarded M.Tech. degree from the ICFAI University, Dehradun, subject to University regulations.

Program Structure

There are 4 semesters spread over two years. The University follows a Credit-based semester system of teaching, learning and evaluation. The program consists of 7 specialized courses and 4 open electives along with mathematical electives. Students are also required to deliver a seminar and pursue an M.Tech Dissertation / Internship.
